Before entering a patient's room, you should get permission. If you are allowed to enter by the patient, you can go to meet him. The patient may not be pleased to meet some people and disturb the process of recovery.

To put your mobile phone to silent mode because its noise might bother the patient or other patients. The mobile phone may cause malfunctions of the hospital devices.

You are responsible for the things given to you to have in your room; all items and equipment are delivered to the person who company you; you are expected to be diligent in maintenance of them; you should give them back safe and sound.

Avoid from using negative words, speaking of other diseases, unreasonable criticism of medicine, hospitals, inflation and unpleasant social issues, and expressing doubts about the doctor or the type of medication by patients.

Try to speak about positive things. Empathy with the patient has a significant role in reducing the patients’ pain and discomfort. And it helps the patient remember that others like him have suffered physical problems and disease is not peculiar to him. For patients who need extra treatment in longer time, calls for patience is also very useful.
