No smoking inside the hospital; you can smoke only in special places.
Some units have their own rules and regulations, you should follow them.

Please not to sit on the bed and touch the instruments in order to reduce transmission of infection.
Do not pay any bill in cash, except for the hospital fund. Receive the receipt for your payment in cash.
Please be careful for your valuable stuff and protect from them, if you lost them, the hospital would not be responsible.
Without advice and permission of the nurse, do not give water and food to the patient and do not remove him from the bed.
It is forbidden to take picture or video in order to protect the privacy and confidentiality of patients, visitors and the staff.
To reduce contamination and disease transmission, please not to bring flowers for the patients, especially the elderly and babies.
It is better to leave your ring, watches, jewelry and other valuables in your home or to give them to your family to protect them.
To leave the room when clinical examination, evaluation and patient care is done, unless the doctor or nurse will ask you to stay in the room.
The presence at the patient’s bedside is allowed only according to doctor's orders or record on the file. The card will be issued if necessary.
The person companying you should have card. Every patient can have only one person for companion, except at the discretion of a doctor or nurse.
The hospital staff are fully trained to deal with emergency situations such as fires; if you hear the sound of the fire alarm, keep calm and stay in your rooms and let the staff guide you in this regard and carefully follow their strategies.
To have a private and tranquil environment, it is necessary to limit your talking on the phone, holding personal meetings, watching TV or turning on the lamps in order not to bother others.
If you have the electronic devices such as hair dryers, shavers, etc. with you, before using, discuss with the nurses in order to prevent from the risk when using this equipment.
Choose one of your relatives or companions as the main companion for the constant contact with the doctor and staff. He/she passes the received information by keeping the principle of secrecy (It is better this person to be a relative preference).
Before entering a patient's room, you should get permission. If you are allowed to enter by the patient, you can go to meet him. The patient may not be pleased to meet some people and disturb the process of recovery.
To put your mobile phone to silent mode because its noise might bother the patient or other patients. The mobile phone may cause malfunctions of the hospital devices.
You are responsible for the things given to you to have in your room; all items and equipment are delivered to the person who company you; you are expected to be diligent in maintenance of them; you should give them back safe and sound.
In order to restore peace and tranquility of patients and observe cleanliness and hygiene, avoid from unnecessary traffic in the hallways and talking and laughing out loud.
Avoid from talking about tragic and unpleasant events in the presence of the patients.
Do not ask too much of the patient about disease. Also, avoid from giving suggestion about medical care and order.
Avoid from using negative words, speaking of other diseases, unreasonable criticism of medicine, hospitals, inflation and unpleasant social issues, and expressing doubts about the doctor or the type of medication by patients.
Try to speak about positive things. Empathy with the patient has a significant role in reducing the patients’ pain and discomfort. And it helps the patient remember that others like him have suffered physical problems and disease is not peculiar to him. For patients who need extra treatment in longer time, calls for patience is also very useful.
